

Up Your Cherry is a noise-pop duo based in Philadelphia. They first performed live in the 2011 Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
					Matt (aka leviathant) is in charge of rhythm and programming. He owns a Tempest. In his spare time, he is a web developer in Old City. He is the founder of The NIN Hotline. Previous bands include Tears for Agnes and Slow Andy.
					Melissa is in charge of stringed instruments and vocals. She owns a Mandocaster. In her spare time, she is getting a Ph.D. at the University of Pennsylvania. She wrote The Gonzales Cantata. Previous bands include Tears for Agnes and Dead Inside the Chrysalis.
					They have a house in Poplar and three cats.
					They formed this band because it was time.
					Their music is loud.
